I have a confession!!!
So I want to confess to you … I’m NOT perfect!! And since nobody is … I think we can probably all relate to each other. The past 45 days has been a real challenge; with summer vacations starting and a back injury I’ve hit a few obstacles and bumps in the road. I’m here to tell you that when you come to an obstacle it may take every ounce of your being to get over that obstacle, but DO IT … it’s worth it!! Overcome the obstacle and keep looking towards your goal. You didnt put the weight on overnight … and you won’t take it off that soon either. Think of it as a Journey, and it’s “your” journey so take it one day at a time and try to stay focused.
I have had numerous birthday celebrations, out-of-town trips and vacations in the past 45 days to set me back a couple of weeks, and I will admit I wasn’t perfect. I’m not going to say I sat there an ate an apple every time cake was being served. I’m human, and I continue to live my life … but I’m trying to live it in “moderation” at times of celebration and such. Then, you get back on track!! Today is a new day!! Today I drank my two shakes, had my healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner, completed a great workout and I feel great!! Don’t take long-term breaks, it’s not worth it. When you stumble, get right back up and start a new day fresh and clean!! That’s how I like to eat, Fresh Food and Keep it Clean!!
I haven’t met a single person who has said “losing weight is the easiest thing I’ve ever done”, have you? I’m sure you haven’t. But what you will hear people say is “losing weight is the best thing I’ve ever done”. So keep that in mind and keep your eyes set on your goal … it will be worth it!! Do it for yourself and do it for those you love!!
