Something Sweet!!
I want to share something with you that I am passionate about. I won’t go off on a tangent … I will let you do your own research, but, I feel very strongly about avoiding man-made chemical sweeteners, i.e., Equal (aspartame), Splenda (Sucralose) for more than one reason. First, because I have read numerous articles about it affecting insulin regulation and actually causing us to crave sweets even more. And I personally believe it is a contributor to cancer, lupus and many other diseases. So … with that said I want to share with you the Alternative Sweetener that I have found to be most like “sugar”. Nu-Stevia is made by a company called Nu Naturals and their product is AWESOME!! I buy it at Lassens but have also found it at other health food stores out of town. You can also order Nu-Stevia online which is the best way if you can remember to order it before you run out. It is not only great for Iced Tea, I bake with it and use it just about anywhere sugar is used. If you want more information on the product you can go to this website:
CHECK THIS OUT: http://www.iherb.com/NuNaturals I wanted to pass this savings onto you … Get $5.00 off their already inexpensive prices!!! Use this code: MEJ791
Below are a few links to some articles I have read regarding Sucralose and Aspartame. Once again, I am not saying these findings are 100% proven and factual … but I’ve heard enough and read enough to not want to take that kind of chance … not when it’s so easily avoidable. I have also tried to find articles proving that aspartame is safe … and that is very hard to find!!
